The great importance of the exchange of information between Advanced Countries and Emerging ones is widely recognised: Emerging Markets benefit from expertise and human capital present in Advanced countries while giving them valuable feedback about the techniques they already use.
In this context, international and multilateral existing forums on PDM are extremely useful but they lack of continuity.

The aim of our Discussion Forum is to promote a permanent dialogue between public debt managers from both Emerging and Advanced countries, in order to increase the efficiency of information sharing and knowledge building while decreasing its costs.
Moreover, the PDM Forum aims at sharing the good practices in PDM techniques developed by the OECD WPDM in its policy dialogue with Emerging Market Economies.

In this context, members of the Network are warmly invited to suggest a new Forum every time they feel there is an interesting issue not yet considered in current.
