2013 IIF Annual Membership Meeting (AMM)

This two-day meeting will provide high-quality, stimulating discussion and debate, covering the issues that are important to you and your business. The program for the first day will provide an overview and several perspectives on the macroeconomic environment as well as the prospects ahead for the global economy. It will also tackle the challenges posed by existing quantitative easing in a number of mature economies. It will also offer, for the first time, a choice of sessions on regional issues and an in-depth look at the challenges facing the various regions including a discussion of housing and energy policy in the US. In addition to the IIF’s usual analysis of key issues in the regulatory area, the second day will feature a discussion on resolution and recovery. The meeting will include a discussion of the future of finance in terms of markets, and instruments and will feature a policy debate on ‘smaller, simpler banks: solution to all ills, or mirage?’ The day will conclude with a discussion of issues surrounding financial inclusion. The deadline to register is September 19; please click here to register. A preliminary agenda for the meeting is available and will be updated.
