Brussels Economic Forum 2010

The Brussels Economic Forum is one of the European Union’s premier platforms for debate on economic policy issues. It was set up in 2000 following the euro’s launch the year before. Now an annual event, it stimulates debate on the economic challenges facing the EU and the world. With top-level speakers, the Forum brings together economic policy-makers, academics, and business representatives in an open arena where a wider audience can follow and participate in the debates. Some 1,400 participants registered in 2008.
