Canada-US Securities Summit

SIFMA and the IIAC on May 13 to discuss the U.S. and Canadian financial markets, with a focus on the market and regulatory changes affecting cross border flows between these two dynamic and interconnected economies. Among the topics to be covered by the program, speakers – including Chair & CEO of the Canadian Securities Transition Office, Douglas M. Hyndman – will discuss the governance and organizational arrangements of the new Canadian Co-Operative Capital Markets Regulator and how the draft regulations address investor protection, efficient markets and systemic risk in Canada.
