Managing Counterparty Risk in 2016 and the Future: Current Issues for Risk Managers and Legal Practitioners

2016 will see the evolution of a number of important regulatory initiatives related to the management of risk in the derivatives markets. The most important of these are mandatory minimum collateral requirements for uncleared swaps and the development of recovery and resolution regimes for central clearinghouses and systemically important financial institutions. This conference will provide an overview of these developments and their potential impact on derivatives markets and relevant legal documentation, with an emphasis on issues of concern to legal practitioners working both in-house and for outside counsel.
