Regulating Financial Markets

The organizing committee invites submissions of high-quality theoretical or empirical research papers on regulation of financial markets. The conference calls for papers from finance, economics and law espe-cially covering topics on the link between financial intermediation and regulation, including (but not limited to)

    • the effects of financial market regulation on the real economy
    • the impact of regulation on competition among banks and other financial institutions
    • the market entrance and exit of financial institutions
    • the coordination of supervision and regulation
    • the political economy of financial regulation
    • the relevance of digitization for financial markets and their regulation.
