World Bank Webinar: Challenges for debt management created by large capital flows

The topic of this webinar is on Challenges for Debt Management Created by Large Capital Flows will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. During this webinar, debt managers will share their recent experiences dealing with and resolving potential conflicts between monetary policy objectives and debt management objectives. Mr. Peter Stella, former head of Central Banking and Monetary and Foreign Exchange Operations Division at the International Monetary Fund, will comment on the country cases from Peru and the Philippines and provide a global perspective on the issues. Following the webinar, we will host an online discussion on the key issues and questions discussed on the Public Debt Management Network for Emerging Markets (PDM Network) website (www.publicdebtnet.org). The PDM Network is a knowledge sharing platform for public debt managers sponsored by the OECD, the Italian Treasury, and the World Bank.
