The OECD groups 30 member countries sharing a commitment to democratic government and the market economy. With active relationships with some 70 other countries, NGOs and civil society, it has a global reach. Best known for its publications and its statistics, its work covers economic and social issues from macroeconomics, to trade, education, development and science and innovation.
The Public Debt Management (PDM) Network is an initiative by the OECD and the Italian Treasury aimed at building, sharing and developing knowledge on public debt management.
It encourages and facilitates permanent discussion on debt management related matters among all actors who are actively concerned with public debt management, all over the world.
The Governance Group is composed of representatives from both the Promoting Institutions and Partners. Its size should not exceed 7 members. The Governance Group initially includes as members two representatives from the Italian Treasury, two from the OECD, as well as the Chairman of the OECD WPDM. Promoting Institutions appoint permanent members.
