Call for papers Venice Summer Institute 2023: The ‘70s are Back: Determinants and Implications of High Inflation

We consider both empirical and theoretical contributions. On the empirical front, we are especially interested in research that explores rich microeconomic data, including administrative data, scanner data, or surveys. On the theoretical front, research capturing the different dimensions of heterogeneity observed in the data and its interaction with inflation, expectations, and macroeconomic dynamics are of particular interest, as well as new theories to explain the inflation process.
