The deadline for nominations is 31 December 2024.

Submissions to the area conference may deal with any topic in Public Economics, and preference will be given to complete papers. Please note that the same paper is allowed to be submitted to only one of the CESifo Area Conferences. Papers which are more related to the topic of other Area Conferences may be re-directed to the respective Area Director.

The Public Economics conference will commence at midday on Wednesday 19 March and end on Friday 21 March and will take place as an in-person event (streaming of sessions will not be provided).

Submissions to this conference may deal with any topic in Public Economics and preference will be given to full papers.  Please note that the same paper is allowed to be submitted to only one of the CESifo Area Conferences. 

In keeping with the tradition of previous years, all participants at the conference are also cordially invited to attend the Richard Musgrave Lecture which will take place at 6pm on the first day of the conference.
