The organizers invite submissions of research papers on any issue pertaining to inflation expectations.  Topics of particular interest include:

• Eliciting and measuring the inflation expectations of consumers and firms
• Assessing the determinants of inflation expectations
• Understanding the effects of inflation expectations on consumers’ consumption, saving, investment, and labor supply choices
• Determining the effects of inflation expectations on firms’ investment, price setting, and wage setting choices
• Evaluating whether monetary authorities can effectively manage, and anchor the inflation expectations of economic agents through communication
• Studying how inflation expectations affect the effectiveness of monetary policy
