The conference is primarily organized as an in-person event. Accordingly, UNCTAD is encouraging government, international and academic institutions who wish to participate in the conference to nominate representatives to travel to the Palais des Nations in Geneva. Although there will be the possibility for persons to listen to speakers remotely, they will not be able to actively participate by asking questions or making statements. All participants, whether in-person or joining remotely, must register in advance in the United Nations Indico system.
