The 10th PDM Webinar entitled EURO AREA STABILITY WATCH 2026: Resilience under Strain in a Fragmented Global Environment, will take place on Tuesday, 17 November at 9.00 a.m. EST |3.00 p.m. CET.

Webinar Overview:

The euro area is facing a more volatile and fragmented global environment, marked by geopolitical tensions and heightened uncertainty in energy and financial markets. While the region has remained resilient to recent shocks, fiscal buffers have weakened and new vulnerabilities are emerging. This webinar will discuss the main findings of the first chapter of the Euro Area Stability Watch 2026, the inaugural edition of a new annual publication by the ESM. It will examine the main downside risks to the euro area outlook and their implications for growth, inflation, sovereign financing conditions, and debt sustainability. The session will also benefit from the moderator’s broader perspective on Europe and emerging economies, alongside recent surveys of market participants and investors providing an updated view of evolving risks and market sentiment.
