Fitch Revises Thailand's Outlook to Stable; Affirms at 'BBB+'
Fitch Ratings has revised the Outlooks on Thailand's Long-Term Foreign- and Local-Currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) to Stable from Negative and affirmed the IDRs at 'BBB+'. The Outlook revision reflects our increased confidence in a broadly stabilising government debt/GDP ratio over the medium term, as Thailand's economy is holding up better than expected in the face of the global energy shock, deflationary pressures have receded, and policy predictability has improved following general elections in February 2026 and a smooth coalition formation.
