IMF unlocks about $1.8bln for Egypt after reviews
The International Monetary Fund said on Thursday it completed two reviews of Egypt's loan programme, giving the country access to about $1.8 billion, as the fund presses Cairo on slower-than-expected progress in reducing the state’s role in the economy.
