Pakistan plans to borrow $19.9b in next fiscal year

Pakistan has planned to borrow $19.9 billion under the foreign economic assistance during the next fiscal year 2025-26.
The breakup showed that Pakistan would borrow $1.342 billion from the bilateral sources, $5.055 billion from the multilateral sources, $3.1 billion from foreign commercial banks, $9 billion time deposit, $609 million Naya Pakistan Certificate and $410 million from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) during the upcoming financial year.  [...]
