Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi received Ben Black, Chief Executive Officer of the ⁠U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), and the accompanying delegation at his residence in Washington, D.C. The Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency that “During the meeting, the two sides reviewed available opportunities and areas of cooperation between Iraq and DFC, including participation in infrastructure reconstruction and expanding financing partnerships for development projects and plans aimed at revitalizing the Iraqi economy in the energy, transportation, agriculture, digital economy, and services sectors. They also discussed moving to the implementation phase and commencing work on these projects”. [....]
