Italy national debt rose by 19.5 billion euros in March, taking it up to 3.1588 trillion, the Bank of Italy said on Friday.
The central bank said the increase was driven by an increase of 31.5 billion euros in the public sector borrowing requirement, which was only partially offset by other factors, including a 10.8-billion-euro reduction in the Treasury's liquid assets. [...]
