Tracking the U.S. economy: What the year’s first quarter numbers show
With the first quarter of 2026 in the rearview, KTTC continues to track the financial health of the nation’s economy. Reviewing some of the average nationwide consumer prices, according to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reporting from March, a dozen eggs saw a sharp year-over-year decrease—dropping nearly $4 to $2.35.
