Bulgaria's gross external debt amounted to EUR 69.5 billion (56.4% of GDP) at end-March 2026, growing by EUR 18.6 billion (36.4%) from end-March 2025 (EUR 51.0 billion, 43.9% of GDP), according to data released by Bulgarian National Bank on Friday.
