Ireland’s economy is strong, but fiscal risks mount as Government shifts course

Ireland’s economy continues to perform strongly, with employment at record levels and wages rising faster than inflation, according to the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council (IFAC). According to the Fiscal Assessment Report, in normal circumstances, such conditions would call for a steady fiscal hand rather than additional stimulus.
