There is growing interest by emerging markets to issue green, social, and sustainability (GSS) bonds for achieving their sustainable development goals and meeting their Paris Agreement commitments. As a pioneer in the development of green bonds, the World Bank supports public sector issuers in emerging markets to issue GSS bonds. Now the World Bank is sharing its experience with a new eLearning course. The course explores the rationale for utilizing GSS bonds, the process for issuing them, and how the World Bank facilitates such transactions.
